1) What qualifies for a return
We accept returns within 30 calendar days of delivery. Items must be returned in the same condition received, with all accessories/labels and in original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging).
Because our catalog is used, vintage, antique, and modernariato, please note:

Items are pre-owned; patina, minor wear, slight irregularities, and period imperfections are normal and often noted in the listing.

Photos/descriptions highlight major flaws; color/texture may vary due to lighting and screens.

Returns based solely on ordinary vintage characteristics (age-consistent wear) may be declined.
This policy does not limit your statutory rights (including the EU right of withdrawal). We voluntarily extend the window to 30 days.
2) Non-returnable items
Unless defective or not as described, the following cannot be returned:

Custom/personalized items or items altered at your request (e.g., wiring, framing).

Hygiene-sensitive items once unsealed (where applicable).

Digital content once accessed/downloaded with prior consent.

Items explicitly marked Final Sale in the listing.

Bulbs/consumables supplied with lamps/electronics (courtesy items).
3) How to start a return

We’ll reply with authorization and return instructions/address.

Ship the item within 14 days of authorization using a tracked and insured service. Keep your receipt.
Returns sent without authorization or outside the stated timelines may be refused.
4) Return shipping & costs (Buyer pays)

Return shipping costs are always paid by the buyer, including packing, insurance, and carrier fees, except where required by law.

If an item is significantly not as described or arrives damaged, contact us first with photos; where legally required (or upon our approval), we may cover or reimburse reasonable return costs. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Oversized / freight items
For furniture, large lighting, or fragile art shipped via freight/white-glove, the buyer must arrange and pay for the return with an appropriate carrier, unless the item is not as described or arrives damaged and we confirm coverage.
5) Damaged in transit
If the parcel arrives visibly damaged:

Accept with reservation (where available) and photograph the box (exterior), packaging (interior), shipping label, and the item.

Email dpkgpt1987@gmail.com with photos within 48 hours of delivery so we can file a carrier claim.

For one-of-a-kind pieces, replacement may not be possible; in that case we will refund.
6) Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email approval or the reason for refusal.

Approved refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the item (or proof of shipment, where applicable) to the original payment method.

Where EU withdrawal rules apply, we also refund standard outbound shipping (not express/premium options).

We may deduct an amount for diminished value if the item was handled beyond what’s necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning (e.g., new damage, missing parts, inadequate packaging).
7) Exchanges & replacements
Most items are unique. Please return for a refund and place a new order for a different item. Direct exchanges are rarely possible.
8) International returns (non-EU)
Duties, taxes, and customs fees are non-refundable. For returns from outside the EU, mark the parcel as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges. Any unrecoverable import costs may be deducted from the refund.
9) Authenticity & descriptions
We stand behind the authenticity of our vintage/antique pieces. Listings include condition notes to the best of our knowledge. If you believe an item is not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos.
10) Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. EU consumers retain the 14-day right of withdrawal (extended here to 30 days). Exceptions per Directive 2011/83/EU / Italian Consumer Code art. 59 still apply (customized goods, sealed hygiene items, digital content after consent).
