Large Gilliano Carabinieri liquor decanter for display in a shop or bar. Stamped "Coronelli, Italy" under the base. The large decanter depicts a Carabiniere in uniform. The uniform and hat are primarily black with white trim, white gloves, and a gold-plated metal sword. The hat features a white, red, and green ceramic plume decoration on the top, with a small chip. The sword has two gold tassels. His face is in excellent condition.
This is a large, heavy piece measuring approximately 33.5 inches tall and approximately 8 inches round base.
This is in excellent pre-owned vintage condition. Being a vintage item, it shows some signs of age. There are several areas where the black paint is missing.
I don't know if this one opens. I haven't tried removing the cap. It's such a magnificent piece that I don't want to risk damaging it.
